Hotfix Level 6 for SIMbox Version 5.7

SimiGon announces the release of Hotfix level 6 for version 5.7. SimiGon releases product updates from time to time in an effort to continue to provide added value to our loyal customers. Our partners and customers are able to receive these updates between version releases and enjoy new capabilities and improved product performance before the large version release. With this release our goal is to improve the quality of service we provide in order to better support our partners and customers. Active maintenance customers will be able to receive this product update from SimiGon support.

New Features and Issues Resolved

Graphic Engine

  • Added support for VR mode with HTC Vive Pro
  • Fixed compositors bug
  • Fixed pick objects bugs

Agent Editor

  • Added localization capabilities to agents
  • Fixed an issue with default sound device for Text-To-Speech

Software Update

  • Fixed the installation bugs for the auto-update of content packages

Record and Play

  • Added support for playing sound files in parallel and from a certain position in the file
  • Fixed issues with sound playing when using playback seek

VoIP

  • Added a configurable option to pause VOIP recording during simulation pause
  • Fixed an issue with VOIP restarting after a crash

Simulation

  • Improved loading performance
  • Enabled the Instructor Operator Station (IOS) to take control of an uncontrolled entity
  • Improved aircraft positioning accuracy between design time and runtime
  • Fixed some touch-screen configuration bugs
