New Features and Issues Resolved in Hotfix Level 2 for SIMbox Version 5.6.1

SimiGon announces the release of Hotfix level 2 for version 5.6.1. SimiGon releases product updates from time to time in an effort to continue to provide added value to our loyal customers. Our partners and customers are able to receive these updates between version releases and enjoy new capabilities and improved product performance before the large version release.
With this release our goal is to improve the quality of service we provide in order to better support our partners and customers. Active maintenance customers will be able to receive this product update from SimiGon support.


Performance Improvements

Graphic Engine

  • Various performance improvements when opening GIS map views
  • Various performance improvements when opening external views
  • Added the ability to load textures slower – in more than one frame – by loading a sub-part of the image each frame
  • Added a textures-caching ability in the GPU
  • Created the ability to set quality ranges for the terrain texture
  • Added the ability to use a single device for 2 monitors (prevents GPU lack of memory)


Resolved Bugs

LMS

  • Web Access:
    • Fixed a missing resource bug when running a session with an agent
    • Fixed a bug in 'Start Date' and 'Due Date'
  • Fixed a bug in 'Account Center' layout
  • Fixed a bug in resetting a complex password


Simulation

  • Various DMT fixes
  • Various VOIP fixes
