Hotfix Level 15 for Version 5.7

SimiGon announces the release of Hotfix level 15 for version 5.7. SimiGon releases product updates from time to time in an effort to continue to provide added value to our loyal customers. Our partners and customers are able to receive these updates between version releases and enjoy new capabilities and improved product performance before the large version release. With this release our goal is to improve the quality of service we provide in order to better support our partners and customers. Active maintenance customers will be able to receive this product update from SimiGon support.

New Features and Issues Resolved

Simulation

• Fixed an intermittent issue that might cause an aircraft to spin out after an instructor station reposition
• Fixed an issue in the VoIP system, where a simulation crash might prevent it from working from the crash forward
• Fixed an issue with the Multi-path-lever, where the first interaction in touch screen mode would cause it to "jump"
• Implemented a before/cancel pattern for the TTS/Audio events to allow extensions to "vote against" playing the audio clips

  • BeforeTextToSpeechDisplayMesage/CancelTextToSpeechDisplayMesage
  • BeforeTextToSpeechPlaySoundFile/CancelTextToSpeechPlaySoundFile
• Added the ability to perform a "jump-to" in runtime using simulation events:
  • Publish the event ForceJumpToStep with the name of the step - Note that this will attempt to perform the jump-to on all loaded agents, and will use the first step matching the designated name
• Added the ability to display a console within a console, e.g., a testing equipment can be created as a console and then loaded into the active console
  • Use the event DisplayInternalConsole to show the console
  • Use the event HideInternalConsole to hide the console

LMS

• Added support for Office 2016 (documents and presentations)
• Various improvements for the sync mechanism, specifically master-slave sync
