New Features and Issues Solved in Hotfix #83039 (for SIMbox Version 5.6)

New Capabilities

Simulation
- Extend Simulation Auto-Run to support Instructor Station remote control capabilities in an environment with no mouse and keyboard
- Enhanced NavAids extension to serve as an asynchronous queued query service
- Create “Normal Maps” for selected base content models: hummer (military), M1A2 Abrams, T72
- TurboProp motion model support of various malfunctions

Toolkit
- Console - Added new properties for N state switches to define min/max state driven by value provider. This is useful when creating safety-guarded switches.

Graphic Engine
- Support rain and snow effects to impact visibility
- Add ability to project AGI elements to infinity – Useful when creating HUD surfaces.
- Enable the projection of simulation on a dome

Installation
- The hotfix installation on a server now prompts if restart is required after installation of vcredist.exe
- AD admin tool is now being closed while installing a hotfix

Simulation
- Improvements made in touch-screen buttons functionality
- Multi-Screen:
  - Fix to a crash occurred on exiting a DMT-multiscreen sessions
  - Slave-joiner window is no longer minimized when launching in tandem mode
- UGV tracks are now rotating when UGV moves

LMS
- Active Directory:
  - Sync doesn’t stop even if a problem occurs in the sync process
  - Fixed a sync problem of users with some symbol characters in their name
- Import:
  - Objectives used in agents are now automatically imported to the objective center when importing the session
- Knowledge Center:
  - Duplicating an item with a linked item – now the connection between the duplicated item and the linked item remains
  - Dragging an item from one subject to another subject where the item already exists – the item is now removed from the original subject
  - Dragging checked-in items between subjects is now enabled
  - If an error occurs during Playback generation process, the ‘Generating Playback’ splash does not get stuck
- Login:
  - Server login – Fixed “error 1000” caused by the operating system
  - Client login – Fixed an error caused when a client tried to login and the server was extremely loaded
- Web Access:
  - When exiting an item using the X button of the IE window all runtime information is now saved
